Membership

LETG Memberships

There are 3 categories of membership available:

Firm Membership

Open to any individual law firm, set of Chambers, in-house legal department or government legal department. The law firm, set of Chambers, in-house legal department or government legal department is the Member of the LETG and it nominates one person to act as its LETG representative. The LETG representative will receive all newsletters and other correspondence from the LETG, is entitled to vote on behalf of the Firm and to attend the AGM, annual conference, training sessions and other social events. A Firm Member may nominate its LETG Representative as a member of the LETG Committee. A Firm Member is also, upon payment of the appropriate subscription, entitled to appoint Associate Members.

Associate membership

Open to any individual (not being the LETG representative) who is employed by a Firm or Group Member. An Associate Member will receive all newsletters and other correspondence from the LETG, is entitled to attend the AGM, the annual conference, training sessions and other social events. An Associate Member is not entitled to vote, nor to nominate Committee Members of the LETG.

Group Membership

Open to groups of law firms, set of Chambers, in-house legal departments or government legal departments which have combined to provide training for the members of the group and which have appointed an in-house training professional or partner or other individual with responsibility for training. The umbrella organisation for the group is be the Member of the LETG and it nominates one person to act as its LETG representative. The LETG representative will receive all newsletters and other correspondence from the LETG, is entitled to vote on behalf of the umbrella organisation and to attend the AGM, annual conference, training sessions and other social events. A Group Member may nominate its LETG Representative as a member of the LETG Committee. A Group Member is also, upon payment of the appropriate subscription, entitled to appoint Associate Members.
