Dear LETG Members,
It was very good to see a number of you at our AGM last night and to have the opportunity to talk to you during and after the meeting.
For those of you unable to come, Peter Carrick chaired the evening, giving a review of the year's events and highlights, some minor amendments to the LETG's constitution were approved, as were our annual accounts.
We then heard a very interesting presentation from Dr Henry Marsden and Des Woods of the headline findings from the research project on partner development carried out for us by the Møller Professional Firms Group in Cambridge. As promised earlier in the project, please see below their presentation from last night so that you can all have immediate access to the materials. We are conscious that some of the presentation does require explanatory notes, but we wanted to let you see these initial findings immediately - we are aiming to circulate a fuller version of their report, with these explanatory notes and more detail on the data which supports the summary conclusions attached, by 11 November.
We hope that you find the document useful and interesting in the meantime, and that it will whet your appetite for receiving the fuller report. A number of members commented last night that they found the report's conclusions very thought-provoking in terms of reflecting on our current development approach for our partner group, and for choosing the most effective options in the future!
As always, if you do have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.
